Don’t try to fit God into your box by thinking He must always do things in the way you think He should. He can see much more clearly than you.
It’s easy to fall into a rut, even if you don’t like the rut.
You get into a routine and start to feel comfortable there. And the truth is, most of us don’t look forward to change. It throws our comfortable routine completely off balance.
Deep down, you know that you can’t control outward things that may happen. But you convince yourself that as long as everything stays the same, you at least have control over your little corner of the world.
This is a false sense of security. Don’t try to fit God into your box and make Him so much smaller than what He is.
God wants a close relationship with you. He already knows all about you, but He wants YOU to learn about HIM and how HE works.
He wants you to know Him so well that you know you can trust Him because of who He Is. You know He loves you more than anyone else ever could, and He desires to work through you.
When you think He can only work in a certain way, you try to make Him fit into your small box. You take away most of the great things He desires to do in your life.
He can see the way clearly, and He wants you to trust Him to lead you in the right direction.
It is a scary thing to step out into the unknown and trust God to lead you where you can’t always see. But that is the way He desires you to live if you are His Child.
He already knows every problem you will face, and He can see the road clearly. You may feel that the fog is so thick you can’t see where the next step is.
But He wants you to learn to take the next step even if you are afraid. The more you do this, the stronger your faith will become.
He knows your strengths, weaknesses, and limitations much better than you ever could. And from His perspective you will always be victorious if you trust Him.
This won’t be an easy thing to do. But most people live the easy way, doing as little as they can so nothing changes. Don’t settle for mediocre things when God wants to do great things in your life.
BUT…He has to get you ready to do those great things. And only He knows when you are ready and what it will take to get you ready.
He never expects you to do anything in your own power, but to only use His power and ability. You definitely won’t get bored if you allow God to move you out of your “comfort zone” to follow Him.
He loves you more than any other person ever could and wants you to have His Best.
Don’t stay in your “comfort zone” any longer. It WILL be scary, but God will meet you exactly where you are now and make you into the person He can use for His Glory.
Don’t spend another minute being ORDINARY when God wants to do something EXTRAORDINARY in your life. All you have to do is take the first step and walk in His Power instead of your own.
