Your attitude affects your whole life in almost every way. YOU have the choice as to how you will let what happens to you either ruin or enhance your everyday life.
You can’t always stop what happens, but you can choose how you will react.
Your attitude is one of the few things you can control in life. There are many things you have no control over, so you have to deal with them in the best way possible.
But attitude is something you can wake up in the morning and decide what kind you will have. When you realize that your attitude affects your whole life in ways that you can’t imagine, you will learn to think differently about it.
Having a good attitude may mean that you choose to let go of some things that have been dragging you down. I have never regretted letting go of those kinds of things so God could give me something even better.
If your life is full of hurt, anger, bitterness, etc., there is no room for God to fill it with the good things that will bring peace and joy.
Attitude
(written by Charles Swindoll)
The longer I live, the more I realize
the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me, is more important than the facts.
It is more important than the past, than education,
than money, than circumstances, than failures, than
successes, than what other people think or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
It will make or break a company; a church; a home.
The remarkable thing is, we have a choice every day
regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past…
we cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on
the one string we have,
and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10%
what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you…
We are in charge of our attitudes.
