Satan Has Patience To Wait For The Perfect Attack

Satan has patience to wait for the perfect attack.

Satan has patience to wait for the perfect attack. He sometimes waits years to slide into the smallest of openings. His greatest hope is that he will never be discovered.

Never give the devil a ride, he’ll want to take over the driving. -Anonymous-

What a statement of absolute truth!

Satan is a master in the art of patience, with his ultimate plan being to destroy. He waits, sometimes for years, for the perfect time to attack. And he attacks when you least expect it.

I think his greatest feat is when he can slide into the very smallest of openings. Then he can slowly and steadily work on enlarging that area until it is under his control.

Many times we don’t even realize what he has done, because the takeover has been so gradual. His ultimate plan is that we never realize it. He tries to work undercover as much as possible.

That is why the Bible tells us in Ephesians 6: 10-18 to put on our spiritual armor each day.

We need every weapon in God’s arsenal to recognize Satan’s methods of attack.

====================

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,  against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

13Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

18praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints–

====================

God wants you to live a life of spiritual victory, and these verses show you how to do it.

It’s extremely important to learn to hear and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit can give discernment and wisdom about situations you need to avoid and people with whom you don’t need to associate.

He can also show you the right decisions to make, and the right direction to go for the long-term.

Satan has patience to wait for the perfect attack. It’s his desire to make you stumble and fall so God won’t be able to use you.

But the good news is that God made a way for you to have victory instead of living in defeat.

Ask God to give you supernatural wisdom and discernment. Also ask for the power to walk in obedience to Him no matter the circumstances around you.

God thinks and works in a different way than you. He can see everything about your life and how it all fits together. He knows exactly the direction He wants to lead you.

The very tiniest of steps starts with you being obedient to what He tells you to do.

If you are facing a situation that looks impossible, run to the God who says in Matthew 19: 26 – “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

You really can believe the promises of the Bible, so get in on what God is doing and  keep your eyes and mind focused on Him.
